Who’s this girl?

The short story:

Please help us find this girl. We found her camera a week ago on a ski piste in Alpe D’Huez. We tried to locate her hotel, based on some pictures of this girl and her friends, and put a note on there, but didn’t got a reaction on it.

Therefore, we’ve posted some pictures of the camera in a Facebook group. Every person in the world is connected trough maximum 7 people, so with the aid of Facebook, we should be able to track her down. And of course, we’ll ship her camera back to wherever she may live. Based on her looks, whe guess she’s from Scandinavia somewhere?

So please forward this message/group to your friends (invite them to join the group), and if you know her, post it in the comments or get in touch by emailing to whosthisgirl.tips@gmail.com !

The complete story:

Once again, something way to typical happend to me. I’m a dreamer. Different times a week, I can recall my dreams perfectly. Just like this extraordinary dream from the beginning of December. My exams where still weeks away (so it seemed), time enough to sleep away. Hibernate, actually. That night I dreamed that I would meet my dreamgirl on the skitrip we were planning at that time. An authentic blonde babe it was. Obviously, the most of our male readership has had comparable dreams. But in my dream, I talked to her, and for real, it _was_ my dreamgirl. And this dream was also very clear, which sparked a hope that this was some kind of vision.

On the skitrip (last week), my expectations were of course very high, but still my prime objective was just to have a good time. On day 3 on the ski piste, at once I see a photo camera glitter in the snow. Risking my life, I complete some crazy maneuvers to stop in the neigbourhood of the camera. It looked like some brand new, expensive camera. I put it in my pockets, not sure what to do with it. My conscience told me to register the camera in the closest red cross servicedesk on the piste, so that the owner could contact me. That night, we learned that the camera was full of pictures of a more then average beautiful blond girl. As she was the only one appearing on most of the pictures, we concluded that this must be her camera.

Struck by lighting, this wasn’t a coincidence. The next day I went out to find the police station of Alpe D’Huez, to report the lost camera (chances of result there seemed higher than in some vague Red Cross log cabin). After 2 hours of searching, 3 times being forwarded, in the blazing sun and still dressed in full snowboard outfit, I found the police. Registerd everything there and waited the complete day for a phonecall. Nothing …

In the meantime, the team of experts I put on the case (read: my snowboarding friends), had distilled her probable hotel from the pictures on the camera. So the next day I went back to Alpe D’Huez, tracked down her hotel and hang a small message in the hotel’s elevator (in multiple languages, because based on the pictures she seemed Swedish or something), explaining that I found a camera and how they could reach me. Once again, very high expectations that night, but still nothing.

Now don’t get a wrong idea of me, the only thing I would have asked is a cup of hot chocolate milk (with whipped cream!) in exchange for the camera, and that’s it. But still … What a pity …

So this is my ultimate attempt at finder her: has anybody seen this girl? Or do you know her? If so, I’ve found her camera.
